How many of you have woke up in the morning and get blasted by the freezing cold air? What’s the first thing you do besides morning hygiene and get dressed? Warm me up right? Well, I have found and made the best drink for that and I want to share it. If you love apple cider then you will definitely love this sugar free apple cider latte.
This drink is amazing, the warm taste of the cinnamon and apple cider is the greatest taste on those cold mornings. Plus, the lovely soft whip cream to give the apple cider a creamy taste. I can’t explain how this drink as open my eyes and taste buds so the whole sum goodness of fall drinks in the middle of fall.
Let’s break it down to how apple cider is actually made. Apple cider is made from apples that are washed, cut and ground into an “apple mash” similar to applesauce. The mash is then wrapped in cloth and pressed into fresh juice. The official description from the Department of Agriculture says cider is “raw apple juice that has not undergone a filtration process to remove coarse particles of pulp or sediment.”
Making the drink is not complicated and I will explain why. Like most lattes in the world requires brewed coffee, creamer, and sugar or stevia. The latte is not much more than that. Start a pot of coffee, after the coffee is done add it to a pot and add the creamer and sugar. I used sugar free vanilla coffee creamer and stevia powder. Then stir it about 30 seconds, now this is optional. Add a dash or a splash of cinnamon and stir it. Then add the apple cider and stir it.
We want the drink to be warm to mildly hot, so bring the drink to a boil. After that grab coffee cup and whip cream. Add the drink to the cup and top it off with whipped cream and sprinkle some nutmeg, all spice, cinnamon, and clove. Like always drink responsibly because the drink is going to be hot and can cause burns.
