Hey everyone today is a very special day! You’re going to learn How To Make Pink Salt Bars for Beginners.
In this recipe we are going over two different ways to make the pink Himalayan salt bars. I’ll be honest with you this was the hardest bar to make. When you add salt to the melt and pour soap base, the salt absorbs the oils in the soap and can make it look like a chunky play dough mess.
The salt made this spa bar clump up so quick. But luckily I made it work, took me six tries but I finally got the right amount of salt to soap ratio. After using the spa bars, it was worth the long hours and the six times I tried to make it.
The exfoliating properties of the salt were amazing, the first way was we put course pink salt in the mold. Which made it the best exfoliating experience I have ever had. When I flipped the bar over the lather with the essential oil blend made me think I was in heaven. The second way, has more of a gentle exfoliating effect. Add a little layer of melt and pour soap to the bottom of the mold then add the course pink salt. This way is for those that have sensitive skin.
The biggest difference between the two spa bars is the amount of exfoliating properties. If you have very rough skin I would suggest you use the first exfoliating bar. The second spa bar is more for those that have sensitive skin. For me personally I love them both, first bar has more exfoliating and the second bar has more lather. It’s hard to pick but which ever one you choose you will enjoy and so will your skin.
