Lavender Bath Truffles!
Today we are making Lavender bath truffles in this episode of Make it Monday which has to be one of my favorite skincare DIY’s. Not only are these Lavender Bath Truffles all natural, but ever since I got pregnant I really enjoy using butter truffles with lavender to take baths. Lavender essential oils also seem to calm my baby as I would soak in the bath tub for an hour or so. I think these bath truffles will make a special gift for any soon to be mamas out there who are allowed to used essential oils while pregnant (please consult your doctor).
Lavender bath truffles are the perfect relief for extra dry skin. Not only are they all natural but they contain copious amounts of butter that will give your legs the shine they need. This recipe is not only simple to make, but it’s a pretty versatile recipe.
This can be used as a bath bomb or a bubble bar that is not only relaxing but will keep you calm and soothe your body. While you soak in a tub full of lavender petals and skin softening and nourishing butters.
I have made this lavender butter truffle countless of times but I have never made it in this type of mold. This mold was a new one for me and let me tell you it was pretty difficult to get these bath truffles out of the mold. Most of them split in the middle because I took them out too fast. If you use this type of mold you may want to take them out slowly.
