Kiwi Sugar Body Scrub!
Welcome to another episode of DIY Saturday! In this episode we are making a Kiwi Body Scrub made with will sugar. I love a good fruity scented body scrub and this one smells so good while exfoliating skin and removing dead skin cells. While I did use fragrance oil for this Kiwi sugar scrub DIY this is pretty much an all-natural body scrub that is easy to make.
Ever since I have gotten pregnant I have loved all fruity scents and Kiwi has been my absolute favorite scent to smell. I don’t know it’s like being pregnant and smelling things have been really hard for me to grasp. Josh has smelled super horrible for the past 9 months and my whole house smells like garlic, so if I can get any type of fruity scent in my life I have been so happy. I have using this kiwi scrub for about a week. My skin feels much better and I just smelling like a big bowl of strawberries and kiwi!
This kiwi body scrub uses all-natural sugar crystals, matcha green tea for the color, and poppy seeds to mimic the inside of the kiwi fruit. I also did use hemp seed oil to make the color a vibrant green. Not to dark and not to light. Hemp seed is a dry oil, so if you have oily skin this sugar scrub is the perfect DIY for you to try. I thinking of doing a different kind of kiwi scrub with more variations, so let me know if would like me to do another scrub.
Kiwi Body Scrub Recipe:
1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
½ -¾ cup hemp seed oil
½ tbsp. Poppy seeds
20-40 drops miracle glow oil
1-2 tsps. Matcha green tea
