Amethyst Geode Bath Bomb!
Yes, this Amethyst Geode Bath Bomb is a part of our special birthstone bath bomb collection we will be starting each Month. Amethyst geode crystal is one of my favorite stones. The colors of this geode crystal are amazing they reflect pinks, purples that are lavender and violet shades.
I truly enjoy how the colors of grey and purples that not only shimmer in the sun when the light reflects the crystal, but this stone is also said to have amazing healing properties. Most crystals are becoming very valuable to have around to heal and deal with stress and Amethyst is on top of the list! Besides all the great things of the Amethyst Geode it’s all the month of February Birthstone and it’s why I wanted to begin the birthstone collection.
I tried to make Amethyst Bath bomb as detailed as I could. I used bentonite clay for grey part of the bath bomb color. I used lots of micas and ultramarines that were pink and purple to give the large salt crystals the reflective colors of the true geode stone.
If you want the bath bomb tops to be solid I would suggest using coconut oil with the large salt crystals to make them harder. If not, my method works just fine. Circle or Sphere bath bomb molds are always tricky for me, but I truly enjoy working with them most of the time.
