Welcome to another episode of DIY Saturday! I am so taken back about how big our Ohana has gotten you guys! It’s truly amazing that you guys enjoy the shows that I host on this channel! I truly hope they are versatile enough for you. To be honest I did not want to stick to one type of DIY and wanted to give you guys a variety of shows that you could enjoy. I am always a gracious host as well so I am just going to say this! I am here to brighten up your day as well as entertain you with a project that works. That is all I half to say on that.
Now the DIY giveaway will be ending next week you guys so make sure you are following me on Instagram. If you are a blog reader please subscribe to my YouTube Channel this is for my Ohana on Youtube only. I find that many of you have been asking me to make a facial scrub and I never ever gotten to it. Well after a few experiments I finally found one that works great. I think you are really going to enjoy this Lavender Face Scrub.
This scrub is pretty gentle on the face and doesn’t require much to help exfoliate those dead skin cells of your face. Most of us have seen DIY face scrubs that use sugar. I am not a huge fan of those type of scrubs to use on the face. Your facial skin is pretty thin and to rub huge crystals on it that can be pretty harsh and abrasive at times. It can become to much and you may end of with lacerations that can eventually lead to infections. Baking soda in this lavender face scrub makes a great way to cleanse and exfoliate the skin.
Lavender Face Scrub Recipe:
¼ cup baking soda
2tbsps. Kaolin clay
1tbsp. Coconut oil
15 drops lavender essential oil
2 tbsps. Rose water

Great idea! I don’t like sugar face scrubs, too. I will definitely try your recipe.
