Making Green Tea Lip Balm (DIY Saturday) Matcha Lip Balm!
Hey you guys welcome back to my channel and another episode of DIY Saturday! Today were making green tea lip balms. These green tea lip balms were easy to make and only require a few ingredients. The main ingredient in these lip balms are green tea. I really enjoy adding green tea to my lip balms because of the flavor. If you love the flavor of matcha you will enjoy these lip balms once you put the butters on your lips. You could add a little bit of sweetener but that is up to you. I think the sweetener will give the matcha green tea in the lip balm more depth of flavor.
I really love the winter season because the skin gets so dry that I am able to make more moisturizers for the skin. The skin really needs moisturizers for the winter and lots of oils and butters do that. Green tea has so many skin loving benefits that your skin will adore. I really love that matcha green tea has so much flavor. I also want to let you guys know to be careful with what green tea you use.
Matcha has so many grades and some powders have a grainy feel to the lip balms. Please make sure your match powder is of fine grade or you can use a sifter. These lip balms are pretty easy to make for the holidays and anytime of year. Most of the ingredients can be found at your local grocery stores. If you don’t have castor oil you can use olive oil which will have the green in your lip balm pop!
