DuoChrome Slime!
Today way were making DuoChrome Slime that has the wonderful colors that shift from purple to a lovely green or blue, with lots of shimmer to it. This slime was inspired by a duo chrome car show that I went to a few weeks back. I was amazed by the colors that the cars would shift from one color to the next. I was really memorized by the purple and blue green color just because these colors look like an alien.
I will be starting the duo chrome series of beautiful slimes and this is the first in the series. I have seen really awesome cars that have the duo chrome colors on the tailgate. Can you imagine tailgating colors that look this awesome. I know duo chrome and the rainbow colors that the powder produce have been used to make oh so beautiful nail polishes. I think the polish colors shift on the nail with so much sparkle and sheen.
I really hope you enjoy this slimy project and all the slime that we have made so far. I am thinking of making this color with kinetic sand. Wouldn’t be cool to see the sand change lovely duo chrome colors that the slime has. I think slime is just an amazing and therapeutic gooey ball off goodness.
I find that most slime with starch flow is easy to make, but borax is more easy to control the slime moisture and stickiness.. I am thinking of making slime with saline solution instead of borax, but I have not really thought that contact solution would help the slime at all. Slime has some beautiful colors that produce a beautiful rainbow effect. I love how the slime can be used to look better then the colors of the car. The Slime totally looks like the duo chrome Starbucks cup that was a collector’s edition.

What colour pigment brand is the Duo Chrome? Could you send a link to where you bought it? Also I made some slime with borax because Starch Flow is not readily available and it wasn’t mouldable like what you make, was it in the borax solution to long or is that just how it is? Can you give me any tips?

I didn’t use borax for this recipe but if you don’t have starch flo you can use liquid laundry detergent. It sort of mimics starch flo and if your slime is to stiff try water. I got my powder from this site https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5337998503&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FMilkyWay-Chameleon-ColorShift-Pearl-Pigment-Plasti-Dip-Clear-Glossifier-Lacquer-%2F390978063718%3Fhash%3Ditem5b081bcd66%3Am%3Am4kZ-xGr0th19ZjZPtTW1Ww%26item%3D390978063718%26var%3D%26vxp%3Dmtr
