Getting more veggies in my diet can be quite the headache especially when I hear the same song playing in my head over and over. You know that song five a day gives you the power to play. I never really had a problem eating a few serving but five is way too many. Now I’m eating more than five servings a day thinks to carb cycling.
Veggies are ok but they taste much better with a slice or two of deli meat. Thanks to Hormel I am now able to get natural deli meats at an affordable price. Because you know I am all about getting more bang for my buck when it comes to choosing natural deli meats that are preservative free. Now I can do that without going to an expensive grocery store and spending my whole pay check.
Now that we have our Hormel natural oven roasted thinly sliced deli turkey meat. It’s time to make our low-carb sandwich. I realized the key to a good low carb sandwich is the lettuce. While I am not a fan of Iceberg lettuce in salads they make the perfect natural bread substitute for sandwiches.
