This post was going to be a whole five page rant on where I have been for the past few months. I was also going to talk about being burned by certain beauty bloggers who I admired. Well after talking to Josh and my sister I decided to calm myself down and just let you guys know that I will be blogging more often now. I was focusing on my store and getting everyone to love all natural beauty products they way I do. I love natural skin and beauty care. I believe most women should use more natural products with fewer ingredients to take care of their skin. I just need a little break from the store and blogging will always be my first love!
If you’re not from L.A. or anywhere in SoCal you probably have no clue what Tajin seasoning is! I know they sell it everywhere but it’s pretty popular in L.A. Let me just tell you that you really need this seasoning especially since summer is here!! This seasoning works for all the tropical fruits and is so good. It’s the Mexican seasoning that you would eat on the chili candy suckers that were the bomb!! All you west coast kids born and raised (especially L.A.) know what I am talking about. I got Josh hooked on this seasoning and he loves it on his eggs! If you can’t find this seasoning the closest thing would be miss dash lime seasoning and its salt fee. I recommend Tajin though!
With summer finally here and since I am trying to lose my winter weight (and some). I have been eating lots of fruit salads. This has been my favorite one so far because it’s easy, perfect with the chia seeds and with the Tajin seasoning it’s just so good. If you’re in the mood for a quick snack that is high in fiber and low in calories try this blueberry mango chia salad!
Blueberry Mango Chia Salad Recipe:
1 cup blueberries
1 ½ cups mango chunks
¼ cup chia seeds
½ -1 tbsp. seasoning (I used tajin)
Recipe Directions: In a medium bowl add blueberry and mango mix until combined. Once mixed add chia seeds and seasoning and mixed. Let salad chill for 30 minutes to an hour. Once chilled serve alone or with your favorite yogurt.
