Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Cane Swirl Bread Oh it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and candy canes are definitely the star of Christmas season. I know your office has all those candy canes sitting around, so grab more than just four and don’t feel guilty about it (they want you to take them, just make sure no one is looking). Once you get home with the office candy canes, you can bake this oh so delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Cane Swirl Bread.  Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Cane Swirl Bread Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Cane Swirl Bread  It’s Baking Season and it’s time to get creative in the kitchen, so when peanut butter &co contacted me about adding candy canes and peanut butter together. I jumped to the challenge! I came up with a mixture of chocolate peanut butter and peppermint candy canes all baked into a quick bread for a decadent treat.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Cane Swirl Bread

Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Cane Swirl Bread Recipe:
2 cups flour
½ tbsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup almond milk
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup canola oil
1 cup dark chocolate dreams peanut butter
12 candy canes, finely crushed
Recipe Directions: Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9*5 loaf pan. In a small bowl place chocolate peanut butter, melt in the microwave; set aside. In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Combine egg, milk, and oil; add to flour mixture. Stir until combined. Pour half of the batter into pan. Layer melted peanut butter on top and then crushed candy canes. Repeat with remaining batter, left over peanut butter and candy canes. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely, before slicing
