This easy lemon lavender almond mask is a perfect way to refine your pores. Almonds are loaded with healthy fats that are not just for eating. Almond flour not only helps shrink your pores but it adds a balance of natural oils that help replenish dry skin. The lemon juice in this almond mask will refine your pores and help keep the skin nice and toned. I prefer a thin almond mask over a chunky one. The chunky one can get a bit messy and you just may get it all in your hair (bun or ponytail may prevent it from getting in your hair), and some may get on your clothes. Make sure you use a shower or sink strainer so none of the almond pieces clog your drains.
Lemon Lavender Almond Mask Recipe:
½ cup almonds (ground into almond flour)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1-3 drops. lavender essential oil
1-4 tbsps. water
Recipe Directions: In a medium bowl place almond flour, lemon juice and lavender oil and mix until the mixture becomes fragrant. Add 1-2 tbsps. of water and mix, if the mixture is too thick too apply to the face, add more water until you get paste. Once you have a paste apply all over face and neck. Let sit for 10-20 minutes or until it dries. Rinse and pat face dry.
