Peach Passion Sugar scrub is a soothing body scrub uses sugar, hydrating coconut oil, real essential oil, and Peach Passion tea.
I’m a huge fan of peach tea! The essence of this tea is amazing! I am such a big fan of peach passion tea; I am dedicating a series of all natural beauty recipes that include the tea. In this series I will be making simple recipes that you can make at home. I don’t know how many recipes will be in the series, but you will definitely get more than one.
You can find peach passion tea at any grocery store or Walmart. Before you try this series I suggest you have a cup of peach passion tea. Just to see if you will enjoy putting it on your body.
The key to getting your sugar scrub to smell just like the tea is making sure you use a neutral oil. Olive oil will not work in this scrub, but I find that coconut oil works nice. You can try canola or vegetable oils. Just make sure the odor does not over power the peach scent! If it does, you can always add a peach essential or fragrance oil. If your scrub becomes too oily add more sugar.
Peach Passion Sugar Scrub Recipe:
1 ½ cups sugar
½- ¾ cup coconut oil
4-5 peach passion tea bags
essential oils (optional)
Color (optional)
Recipe Directions: Open peach tea bags empty leaves and set aside. In a bowl place sugar, loose leaf tea leaves and mix ingredients all together until combined. Slowly add coconut oil and stir until all the mixture is covered in oil. Place in air tight container and store.

I love your face scrub recipes! Thank you for sharing these. I have saved them all, but have only had a chance to make this peach one so far. I do have one questions though: How long will the scrub last? Does it go bad at anytime? Just asking so I know what to tell friends if I give jars of it away as gifts. Thank you!

Thanks so much Charlotte, if you keep them in an air tight container and you don’t get any water in the scrub they can last up to 6 months, however if you’re getting water in them and letting the air hit the scrubs. I would say they will last about 2-4 weeks 🙂

I looked online at Walmart.com to find some coconut oil. Is this the correct coconut oil that I should use?

I am not aware of this tea. Who is it made by? I’d love to try it. I am excited by the premise and I am going to make some using my current favorite tea; Tulsi’s Sweet Rose Tea. I buy it 6 boxes a time from amazon. Great price and SOOOO Good kept chilled in the fridge in the summertime. Very refreshing. And I love it with vanilla coconut ilk creamer. YUMM.

Did you add any color to the scrub posted in the photo? If so, what color/where from?
Also, do you think I could use natural cane sugar or would that be too rough? I have a giant bag of it . . . 😉
Shundara@Savynaturalista says
No color added it came from the tea.. I don’t know about natural cane sugar if it is coarse then yes it will be too rough.. Good luck 🙂

I am new at the DIY game and I was wondering if the coconut oil has to be melted, room temperature, or soild for this recipie?
Thank you
shana says
Do you need to use fractioned coconut oil for this, or regular melted coconut oil? Will it hardening due to temperatures affect the scrub at all?
Shundara@Savynaturalista says
any coconut oil you like I prefer regular but it’s up to you

if you are allergic to nuts, what is the next or best oil to use in place of the coconut oil
