I would say I really have nothing to write about, but I could talk about a lot of things! Especially all the cards and packages, I have to send out this week to family and friends (good ole Easter). What I really want to talk about is this warm weather we are having. It’s not too hot just yet (it’s only in the 90’s), but my sinuses are starting to get to me. I am not a fan of dry heat! I like when there is moisture in the air, and I can breathe through my nose without feeling so light headed. I usually use my calming sugar scrub, but I am thinking of making a serum to add to my humidifier for days when I just need to breathe deeply. Phoenix is a very dry climate, and even though I have been here for a few years. I don’t think my body will ever get use to the dry and arid climate. I am really looking forward to monsoon season!
While I do have bath fizzies for sale to put in your Easter baskets this year. It’s always fun to make your own! You can use them for your Easter egg hunts, add them to baskets, or give them away as gifts. I think everyone loves a little treat to add to their bath water every now and then. There is no age requirement with these Easter egg bath fizzies! Because everyone can use a little me time in the bath tub.
Easter egg bath bombs are pretty simple to make, but there are a few tips that you will need. Make sure you let them set for at least 2-6 minutes before you take them out the egg shell. If you let them dry overnight in the plastic eggs they will get stuck. Make sure you don’t pack them to tightly. That way the egg mold is easy to close and open. You can find plastic egg molds at any dollar store and citric acid at Walmart.
Easter Egg Bath Bomb Recipe:
1 cup baking soda
¾ cup cornstarch
¼ cup organic cane sugar
½ cup citric acid
2-5 drops food coloring
Spray bottle of water
10 drops essential oil (optional)
Plastic egg shells
Recipe Directions: In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients together. Separate the mixture into a few small bowls and add food coloring. It will fizz a bit but don’t worry. Mix in the color with your hands. Use spray bottle to spray mixture, mixing and spraying until it forms a ball in your hand. Then pack the mixture into each side of the plastic egg. Close the egg and shake it to help it form the egg shape. Don’t pack it to tight!

What a great idea! So much better than just giving people even more chocolate than they already have. Everyone loves bath bombs!
