Once you give me some glitter I can get a bit heavy handed with it! By the time I am done with a project I usually end up with glitter everywhere. It’s always in my hair clothes, and shoes. I just love creating a glitter DIY, it adds a bit of sparkle to any day and glitter never goes out of style. Today were making glitter charms and this is the first series in: Glitter Charms (DIY)
What you will need:
Polymer Clay
Eye Pins
Cookie cutters
Nail Polish
Glitter
Container for glitter
Roll out the clay as flat as you like, it’s ok to have finger prints on the clay. The glitter will be hiding all the dents and smudges.
I like medium to small charms, but it’s up to you how thick you like your charms.
It’s better to add the eye pins before you add your charms to the glitter. That way you want get glitter every where.
Roll your charms in the glitter until both sides are glittered evenly. You can use any colors you want. Be creative! 🙂 Once you’re done glittering the charms bake them in the oven according to the instructions on the clay package.
After they are done baking let them cool for about ten minutes. Lightly brush each side of the charm with nail polish (the nail polish keeps the glitter on the charms). Place each charm on parchment paper and let them dry.
Next week is part two of the series so make sure you stop and check it out!

GLITTER! I love that stuff. Yay. It really makes me happy 😀 But yeah, it is everywhere when you create something with it. But hey! – that’s actually kind of wonderful. In that way we create a glitter-coated world, and the world would surely be wonderful if it was glitter-coated 😉
These charms are super cute!
