Have you ever had one of those weeks where nothing went your way, and you were thinking can it get any worse? Well let me tell you about my hectic week as I am sitting here with an ice pack on one side of my cheek (we will get to that). I was never the type to believe, if you start Monday on the wrong side of the bed your whole week is going to be tospy-turvy! Well that all changed for me Monday morning. The work bowl to the food processor cracked, and the frozen fruit and vegetable puree went flying all over the walls (my morning smoothie turned into a 20 minute wall cleanup).
Tuesday was a bit worse! Not only did I almost tumble down the stairs, (due to a bottle of nail polish being left on the stairs) but one of my lenses to my camera decided to roll off the table and the whole lens just came apart. Now I am using my macro lens to take photos.
I thought Wednesday was going to be an ok day but boy was I wrong! I had an air head moment and put a metal bowl into the microwave (melting butter). I didn’t realize what I had done until I heard something sparking and smelled a strong burning order. Now I have a burnt hole in the middle of the microwave, and no amount of elbow grease I put into it has been able to get it out.
When I thought it just couldn’t get any worse for me! Thursday afternoon as I was talking to one of the students at one of the schools I work at. Before I knew it! I got smacked in my left cheek with a football (hence the ice-pack). Lucky for me he didn’t kick the ball that hard, so there’s just a tiny bruise on my cheek.
I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am that the week is almost over, and I made it without pulling my hair out. I decided to make this relaxing bubbly bath soak, because once I get off work I can take a nice hot bath and finally relax. As the essential oils reminded me I really should take a chill pill. If you ever have one of those days (where your about to scream) just take a few minutes to enjoy a nice relaxing bubbly bath soak.
Question of the Week: What was your most hectic moment this week and how did you solve it?
Relaxing Bubbly Bath Soak Recipe:
2 ½ cups Epsom salt
½ cup olive oil
¾ cup body wash
1 peppermint tea bag
1 chamomile tea bag
10 drops essential oils (I used chill pill)
Recipe Directions: Place tea bag contents in a small bowl and set aside. To a medium size bowl add Epsom salt and tea leaves and mix thoroughly. Once done add body wash and mix until it has been combined. Slowly stir in olive oil and essential oils; mix the oils until they have been mixed in. Once done store soak in air tight container.

Hi – this smells like heaven! I added Simply Aromas Lavender EO. I am wondering is this supposed to be a dry mixture? It was very very soupy. I added 2 more cups of Epsom and used sunflower oil and Botanicals Body Wash from Avon. It smells soooo good!
