After a recommendation from a co-worker I decided to purchase a bottle of Gt Synergy Komucha, and ever since my first sip I have not missed soda one bit. Now I am hooked on all things probiotic! Kimchi, Kombcha, Kefir, and anything pickled. Kombucha is a great alternative to soda, but can get pretty expensive if you’re buying it by the bottle.
If you have always wanted to make Kombucha, but have been put off by the price of the scoby and complicated instructions you have come to the right place. It’s a pretty simple process and cheaper than purchasing one scoby for 15 bucks. I have actually seen people charging up to 40 bucks for one.. Why buy when you can do it yourself. Next week we will start making are own Kombucha. If you would like to join the Kombucha group just come by next week. I will help you get started, so you can make your own homemade healthy soda for less than 6 bucks.
I have so many scobys that they are officially my babies I can neglect and they still thrive… 🙂

Gotta love all the benefits from probiotics 🙂 We started making water kefir and milk kefir last year but now we only make water kefir since it’s a little bit less maintenance. I’ve never tried kombucha and yay for starting to make your own. Great post Shundara and thanks for sharing 🙂 Happy Friday and hope you have a great weekend!
