Gosh we’re almost in December! ………. Where did November go?…….
Thanksgiving is 7 days away and I am not prepared at all! It’s just the two of us this year, so I am definitely going to make an easy kick back dinner!
Not to mention I half to start getting our: I’m sorry we didn’t come see you this year gifts ready to go!…..
Since November is almost over, I wanted to talk about some of my must have skin care products I have been using. Most of you know I love making easy natural products that can make your skin soft, beautiful, and looking young before getting dolled up. My must haves for November are pretty easy to find online and are definitely allergy friendly.
This clay is a life saver, I stared using it a few years ago and have been buying it ever since. It is one of my staples in my skin care regimen, not only can you use it for your face, it is great for the hair, and other parts of the body (I have seen it used in natural deodorant). There are a lot of great uses and recipes for this clay. If you have issues with your pores this clay will definitely tighten the skin and close your pores. I usually use bentonite clay once a month; especially in the winter months because it will dry the skin out. I know most of you wonder why I don’t use Shea butter in my homemade beauty products. I usually reserve Shea butter for my hair because it seals in the moisture. Every now and then I will use just a bit of Shea butter on my skin, but have you tried ordering it in the middle of the month it will be out of stock (especially if you’re ordering from a company who has the good stuff). I do love Shea butter and if you are looking for a great natural moisturizer for the skin Shea butter is the way to go. I made sure I order a few extra jars this time. Just to make some homemade beauty products for all you Shea butter lovers.
I’m really loving the smell of clove; it gives you a great boost and will open up your senses. Now if you are new to clove oil you maybe turned off by the scent, but once you get a nose for it you will enjoy the boost it gives you during the day. If you have an oil warmer put a few drops in it and it will remind you of Christmas. My pores have been driving me crazy lately so I decided to buy some witch hazel, and after a few days my pores shrunk and my skin was smooth. If your pores rack your nerves try witch hazel it works wonders! It reduces the size of your pores and gets rid of a lot of inflammation that can occur from grooming the face. When I go to the farmers market I like to visit the natural handmade products stand. This time I picked up some coffee soap that I am absolutely addicted to! I have been looking for coffee soap everywhere and none of them compare to this one (I am down to my last bar). It has bits of coffee grounds that exfoliate your skin. I am thinking of making a simple coffee soap that does not require a whole process.
I think I have rambled a bit! What are your must haves for skin care products? Let me know!

These sound like great products especially during the winter months when our skin gets drier 🙂 I like using wheat germ oil to moisturize drier areas of my skin and argan oil once in a while for my hair. Yum, that coffee soap sounds wonderful though, I don’t think I would be able to stop smellig the bar all day hehe
