I am not really into technology the way I should be! Never had an iPhone, never used a blackberry, and when I use the machine at the store to swipe my debit card I like to push the screen not use that darn pen! When I first started blogging it seemed easy. I talked about what I ate, my bike being stolen, getting caught in the rain while riding my bike to work, and all the crazy things I use to do to lose weight. I still do all those things while eating more cookies from time to time.
Now I worry more about SEO stuff (which I still have no clue what it is), widgets, and page optimization. I know I rant about techie stuff once a month (which is usually when I try to add a new plugin or widget that decided not to work). I am getting better with all of it with time but it can be one big roller coaster. Maybe someday I will own an iPhone, once they have buttons on the front of the screen. I like to touch and feel things (sounds weird). I am still getting use to my phone with a keyboard.
I love Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes, especially when I am having a crazy tech day behind the scenes. These sweets taste good without the ketchup and you can’t just eat a few. I like my potatoes a little crunchy so I kept them in a little longer (reminds me of french fries). These sweets are the bomb (stuck in the 90’s) and my tech rants can go on forever but I am just going to give you the recipe.
Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes Recipe:
4 large sweet potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
4 tbsp. olive oil
¼ cup honey
Recipe Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees , grease a baking sheet and set aside. Peel and dice sweets into 1-inch cubes, in a large bowl add sweets, 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Place sweets on a baking sheet and in the oven for 15 minutes; turn the oven down the oven to 350 for 20 minutes, they are done once tender in the middle. Let sweets cool until warm, place in a bowl add honey and oil.
Stir with a spoon and serve.

I need these sweet potatoes for dinner or lunch! Looks great! Also, I touch the screen at stores – in fact I think that’s the more techy way to do things quicker! 🙂

Those cashiers love to encourage you to use the pen

Yum, I love roasted sweet potatoes and these look wonderful! Hehe, I agree – it can be overwhelming with how much techie stuff there is to learn nowadays. I touch the screen instead of using the pen on those machines too 🙂

Sweet potatoes are the best…especially when they are roasted like this! I just recently got an iphone, and while I like it…I was fine without it too! Thank you for sharing. This all looks so good!

I heard you become addicted to the iphone once you get it! Let me know how you enjoy your new phone I am still on the fence 🙂

I LOVE sweet potatoes! I get so overwhelmed with the tech stuff too. I keep hoping someone (my husband) will figure it all out for me. But I haven’t been able to get him to take an interest 🙁

Don’t feel bad I have the same problem! I am all alone it takes me hours to get this website together some days…

I absolutely love sweet potatoes. Could you use regular garlic in place of the garlic powder? (I don’t think I can get it here 😉 )
Shundara@Savynaturalista says
I don’t know that’s a good question; I am going to half to check 🙂
