I love peanut butter cookies but I have always wanted to eat them in the morning. I remember going to my grandma’s house and always helping her in the kitchen making peanut butter cookies.
When the next morning came while everyone was sleeping; I would sneak into the kitchen and try to get a cookie from the cookie jar. What I got was a flyswatter across my bottom and sent back to bed. I could never understand how she caught me but she did and always told me that cookies were never to be eaten before breakfast.
I now eat cookies in the morning especially if they have oats; I think oats make a great meal in the morning so I love to put them in my cookies. I now have an excuse to eat cookies in the morning; its ok to have a cookie for breakfast every now and especially if peanut butter is involved.
Lets start with peanut butter
Then add sugar white or brown you pick I choose light brown
Oh yea cream that sugar and peanut butter together
Egg to the batter hoping no shells get into the batter
I had to add two lost my 1 tsp somewhere and it has not been recovered…
Once milk is added to the batter the real work begins
I got lazy and just dumped my dry ingredients into the bowl, a separate bowl would be great if you like extra dishes…
The rubber spatula could not put in this much work
I hope I do not eat all the dough before I get done
