I have no clue what number my smoothie day challenge is for today but I will find out before tomorrow’s smoothie. I did make one smoothie for breakfast Sunday but I forgot to photograph it so I will not count that smoothie in my total. I lost one pound this week which made me upset but it was also a relief; my weight lost had stalled for the past 4 weeks due to my weekend binges. Who knew weekends could have a major effect on weight lost. Now I just half to make it through the holidays I think I will be ok if I can stay motivated. If I do go out it will be sushi because I love sushi and I never thought about (until now), but sushi is really low in calories and if you choose the right item you can eat a nice portion without feeling guilty.
Now for the smoothie today I made a smoothie in a bowl it was thick and creamy and warm for a fall morning. I used 1 banana, ½ cup of applesauce, ½ cup of oatmeal cooked in unsweetened almond milk.
Does anyone like Korean dramas?? I am really addicted to them and I am watching one on Hulu now called My Lovely Sammy Soon. It’s official I am a Korean Drama Lover 🙂 .

Smoothie looks so good. I’m really missing my oatmeal in my plan right now. Korean Drama… haven’t watched it before.. I may give it a try.

Trainer dude has me headed toward Paleo…which is lean protein, healthy fats…non starchy veggies. But at the moment I am still getting dairy. It’s working…well, if I stay away from salty meats like pepperoni and sausage! Lol. Right now I also get a banana with a protein shake if I have weight lifted.

Have you had any success? I have heard about the paleo diet every one who looses a lot of weight on the diet looks really good. Was it easy to get started?

Hubby and I through the years have done the traditional “adkins” and this is totally different. We had to stay under 20 carbs a day… paleo isn’t like that…no counting, just eating natural. I found this link yesterday and it’s funny but informative…check it out. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2010/10/04/the-beginners-guide-to-the-paleo-diet/ I’m not losing FAST, which is a great thing. Trainer dude started me out with more protein, then started slowly changing things about every three weeks. The slow progression is working great for me.

didn’t answer your question… ha ha.. I’m down 28 pounds since being on a similar plan (since June).
