Hey all you Savvy Naturalista’s welcome to another installment of DIY Saturday! Yes were making Turmeric Body Scrub Cups! If your new and you need to catch up on a few episodes. You can check out green tea match scrub cups, honey green tea mask, simple mani bombs and sinus relief shower bombs. This week we are working with turmeric powder, this spice has been around for centuries and has been used in cooking curries, soups, drinks and even in baking. Turmeric has become pretty popular in the west lately, and even though it has amazing benefits for the body when used in cooking. When it comes to one of the largest organs on our body turmeric does wonders for the skin. Not only is it an anti-inflammatory for the skin, but it also is an antiseptic that speeds up healing wounds.
If you don’t like too much coconut oil in your turmeric scrub cups you can use less coconut oil. The mixture made need to be place in ice cup trays if you use less. I hope you are enjoying your miracle glow oil and the recipes I create with it. Most of you have sent me emails asking about my foodie recipes. I will get back into testing and creating recipes in June. Make sure you are following me on istagram and facebook to see the sneak peeks and daily shenanigans in my life.
